Near death experiences... As good a place to start as any. As I Haven't
posted for a few days I will give you a quick update from my
perspective... Well, at Yosemite I got out the bath and went to plug the
hair dryer in as you do, so you can dry your hair... So I did and the next
thing I know is my whole right arm is numb and I'm getting pins and
needles in my spine, but hey I'm still alive so look on the bright side,
ha ha.
Then while driving to the ranch in Death Valley, which I know now why they
call it Death Valley, because the highway agency try and kill you. By that
I mean "Turn air con off for the next 10 miles" yes that is quoted from a
sign in death valley.
Now if you have driven in Death Valley you know what I'm on about, if not
please let me describe it for you and please be my guest at trying it out
to see what it feels like...
Walk into a sauna with a towel wrapped round for head for 10 minutes I can
guarantee that it will feel a lot longer than 10 minutes (If you choose to
do this I will not be held responsible for any accidents that might
happen.)
Now that that's all out of the way and done with let's talk about today.
We got to Vegas just about 12:00, which wasn't very good timing on our
part because you can't check in until 3:00pm so we went to Dennys and
grabbed some lunch which killed some time.
Then we went to Ceasers Palace, I mainly wanted to go there because that
is where the hangover was filmed... What a film... Then we were hoping to
see the fountains at the Bellagio hotel... But that never happened... Must
be trying to save water after all we are in the desert.
By this time we were able to check in, so we did and after that we went on
the hotels roller coaster ride followed by a walk around.
Oh how I wish I was 21, I so want to try out the slot machines and
blackjack... My dad isn't at all interested in that, so that's basically
rubbing salt into injury because he is old enough but won't gamble... And
I'm too young but want to try. Oh well.
We brought some tickets to go around an interactive CSI tour were you had
to solve the crime, which was quite good, however it was too easy... And
that basically sums up today and the past few days of me nearly dying.
Getting less and less motivated to do these, I think it is because the
heat and sun takes all the energy out of me.
Night night
